The modern person faces a wide & complex variety of demands that can wear them down over time. The libido enhancement formula was developed to keep you at top of your performance. Maintain your energy, strength, and affection by channeling the ancient secrets of our ancestors with this unique formula.

The Libido Pill Story

He had been the tribe’s top warrior for many years, able to perform amazing feats of strength and endurance…but the many winters were catching up to him. To maintain his standing in the tribe and at home meant it was time to seek some help. Sitting now with the medicine man, he revealed his concerns.

The medicine man had heard all this many times and even experienced some of it himself. Life requires strength and as he passed his own milestones he noticed what once came easy now required some effort. This was a common but unwelcome part of life. It was also easily delayed. The medicine man knew what plants would help support the blood flow and mood necessary to maintain an older body as if it were young. The warrior before him still had many good years left with just a little daily help. A small pouch was passed over the fire…

Stress, age, diet, activity level, and even fear all play a roll in physical performance. This may even be more of a case in modern lives, with its weakening luxuries, than it was thousands of years ago. But it was still an issue all those years ago and so help was found. Plants, with their amazing diversity of phytochemicals, proved capable of working inside the body to maintain the systems needed for power…much to the relief of both men and women!

Knowledge of these plants was passed down generation to generation from before recorded history. A change occurred several hundred years ago. Science tried replacing experience. From the labs of chemists came strange molecules, pure powders and liquids believed to be better than crude plant extracts at supporting the human body. Purity gave repeatability which gave confidence…even at the loss of some effectiveness or increase in odd side effects. True, there were some amazing creations…and many that would be considered failures when judged honestly. During this age of scientific hubris, some of the scientists rejected the new and devoted their studies to the old, the ancient. The plants that had once maintained the tribe were carefully teased apart, studying the powers of the individual molecules they contained, studying the miracles of which they were capable. In this quest for understanding the components a universal truth was discovered…alone is weak, together is strong. No one molecule could be found that when used alone gave the benefits of using the entire leaf, flower, or root.

  • PHYTOCHEMICAL DIVERSITY: Every person has different needs. Consequentially, reaching one’s maximum virility requires a mixture of plants to supply the proper support for an individual.
  • GOLDENROD: Known since prehistory as the plant to go to for proper functioning of the male reproductive system, goldenrod has long been an herb of choice for North American masculinity due to its rich mixture of borneol, flavonoids, phenolic acids, triterpenoids saponins, and phenolic glycosides.* These compounds work together to keep open and strengthen male hydraulic tissues.* For women, a similar support of blood flow to important places is triggered by this Solidago.* Our goldenrod is responsibly grown, carefully harvested, and scientifically desiccated to preserve its beneficial compounds.
  • MACA ROOT: Originally from the tall mountains of Peru, the thick roots of maca have been used for centuries by energetic men. Its hormonal regulators support both the physical and mental actions of the male system, maintaining reproductive health and ability.* Our sources are specifically grown for market, reducing pressure on the wild plant colonies.
  • BURDOCK ROOT: This cleansing, ancestral root assists the removal of muscular cellular waste products that sap strength and endurance.* Clean, toxin-free muscles can perform longer and with greater vigor, providing extended satisfaction.* Our burdock is sustainably harvested and repeatedly checked for quality and purity.
  • ETHNOBOTANY & CHEMISTRY COMBINED: Designed by Ph.D. chemist and prominent medicinal plant forager Dr. Mark Merriwether Vorderbruggen, this blend taps the experiences of the ancient herbalists while also being supported by modern research.
  • TRUSTED QUALITY: Responsibly sourced and harvested, non-GMO, 3rd Party tested for pesticides and heavy metals, minimally processed using cGMP standards to maintain the integrity of compounds. MM Plant Co. is 100% confident in The Libido Pill. If for any reason at all you're not satisfied, simply contact us and we'll make it right.

The Solidago genus of plants come mostly from North and South America but with a few also originating in Eurasia. Its uses as a supportive herb, especially for maintaining the urinary tract and other tissues that hold fluid, was recognized thousands of years ago. In addition to astringent “tightening up” these tissues, goldenrod also contains compounds that function as anti-inflammatories, smooth muscle relaxers, immunomodulators, and pain relievers.* Working together, these factors have led to the use of goldenrod as a strengthener for millennia.

Flavonoids: This class of compounds is distinguished by its molecules containing multiple aromatic ring structures. Goldenrod contains a variety of flavonoids including assorted quercetin glycosides which are responsible for its anti-inflammatory properties via modulation of cytokine expression.*

Saponins: This class of compounds contain the precursors for many complex, bioactive molecules including steroids such as testosterone.* Due to the somewhat bitter flavor of saponins it is thought they play a role in plant defenses against herbivores. Because of their particular combination of polar heads and long-chain, non-polar bodies they can interact with and destabilize/destroy the cellular membranes of bacteria, making them antibiotic in nature.*

Polysaccharides: This class of sugar-based molecules are most known for potential supportive effects on the immune system operation.(5) They may also help unclog blood vessels by their effects on cholesterol metabolism.*

Phenolic Acids: Goldenrod contains tannic acid and other phenolic acids. These compounds may maintain the overall integrity of tissues, reducing their tendency to leak as pressures inside these tissues raises.*

The ancient Peruvian plant maca belongs to the Brassicaceae family which also contains mustards, broccoli, and other strongly flavored members. The roots are a good source of carbohydrates, making them a useful food for man and beast. But for over 2000 years it is their special blend of glucosinolates and macamides that make it the warrior’s friend.

Glucosinolates: The molecules of glucotropaeolin and glucolimnanthin are potent antioxidants whose activity may be especially good at maintain the proper, long-term power of muscle activity.*(8)

Macamides: This unique class of benzyl alkamides has only been found in maca roots. While they are powerful antioxidants like glucosinolates, they have also been found to increase structural endothelial tissue L-arginine-nitric oxide levels, testosterone concentrations, blood flow due to higher cyclic guanosine monophosphate levels, and overall feelings of energy.* At the same time the maca root extract may reduce feelings of depression and chemical byproduct concentrations associated with stress.* A happy mind is a very powerful mind!

First described by the Roman military physician Dioscorides, burdock was initially found wild across Europe and Asia where its long, thick taproots have been used as food and as a source of medicine. Like so many “weeds” it has successfully migrated to and colonized North America. Here, its aspect as a food was lost but it continued to serve herbalists up into the 19th Century in maintaining the different systems of the human body. Active compounds of burdock roots include polysaccharides, and two special lignans called arctiin and arctigenin.

Arctiin & Arctigenin: These multi-phenolic molecules are the focus of burdock root pharmacological powers. While they exert effects across various human organs and systems, the liver is of key interest. Studies have shown these two compounds speed up the overall functioning of the liver in regard to its job of breaking down and removing toxins.* This improved action is accomplished by “decongesting” and reducing inflammation in this critical organ, allowing it to perform as it is supposed to.*

The enzyme PPARG regulates fatty acid storage and glucose metabolism. Burdock root arctiin and arctgenin may down-regulate PPARG, thereby reducing storage fat storage in the body.* The anti-inflammatory effects of arctiin and arctgenin also show therapeutic effects against infections, certain metabolic disorders, and even on central nervous system issues.* Both chronic and acute inflammation of organs and tissues can lead to cellular degradation. Modulation of the body’s immune/inflammation response by reducing over-production of cytokines is just one of several mechanisms known to arise from arctiin and arctgenin.* These compounds can also affect the body’s nitric oxide levels.* Studies suggest the neuro-protective effects of these compounds can cross the blood-brain barrier, and so can reduce neuron inflammations combined as well as scavenge free radicals inside the brain, offering neuroprotective effects.*

Together, the compounds in these plants may maintain the physical biochemistry needed for strength and endurance as well as support positive mental activity at the neurotransmitter level. A powerful body combined with a confident mind leads to man able to rise up and conquer!
